Kelly Kimmes an Open Door volunteer, University of St. Thomas student, and student manager at Summit Marketplace took action to help hungry families. “I absolutely love how the Open Door helps so many people in the community, so I decided to hold a food drive at the University of St. Thomas’ on-campus grocery store”. Over $1020 was donated from students. Kelly used those funds to purchase items for the Pantry: 175 boxes of Mac’n’Cheese, 48 cans of tuna and 240 cans of chicken.
