Summer Giving Generates more than $35,000 for The Open Door

Thanks to the generosity of many individuals, faith and business partners, The Open Door has had an incredible summer of support. The Open Door’s participation in the 8th Annual Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless Challenge grant was a HUGE SUCCESS. Partners like Ideal Credit Union, who donated through their Customer Appreciation Celebration and Merchants Bank, who donated through their “Swipe Out Hunger” online campaign, as well as countless others, helped The Open Door feed 29% more people this July in comparison to last year. Summer is winding down and as you participate in your final summer activities, please know that your support helped to feed more kids and families this summer. Thank you!
