After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end our Garden to Table program as of this year.

At The Open Door, our mission is to get fresh and healthy food into the hands of families who need it. Despite our best efforts, we have struggled to make our Garden to Table program an effective way to consistently increase food access for families.

While we are no longer managing these garden sites, our top priority is supporting our current gardeners. We are working closely with community partners to transition many of these plots to new leadership wherever possible. We are deeply grateful to the volunteers and gardeners who have grown with us over the last decade. This change allows us to lean further into our most effective programs to better serve our community’s growing needs.
