Bringing fresh, healthy food wherever it’s needed in Dakota County.
The Open Door believes healthy food should be accessible to everyone. Through our Mobile Food program, we go all over the county to bring free food directly to the communities where people live. Every month we set up temporary Pop-Up Pantries and Pop-Up Produce markets at 36+ sites – including senior centers, mobile home communities, schools, and low-income apartment complexes.
While many of our sites serve specific residential communities, we host four distributions that are open to the general public.

Dakota County Northern Service Center Pop-Up Produce
This is our largest distribution and is open to the public with no appointment required. Food is available as supplies last.

Our Farmington-based distribution focuses on providing a variety of fresh produce and pantry staples to the local community.

A convenient Apple Valley location offering free fresh and healthy food distributions in partnership with the local church.
