Our Programs
The Pantry
A welcoming place to get the food you need.
The Open Door Pantry, located in Eagan, is a food shelf that gives food and groceries to people in Dakota County at no cost. The foods we have can change, but we try to have milk, eggs, dairy, meat, fish, breads, fruits, vegetables, canned food, and packaged food.
Mobile Food
Bringing fresh, healthy food wherever it’s needed in Dakota County.
This program brings food to 35 different locations each month, including low-income apartment complexes, senior living facilities, and schools, removing barriers and bringing food directly to where people live and gather.
Drive-Thru
Pre-packed produce and pantry staples – right to your car.
For a quick and convenient option, our Drive-Thru service provides pre-packed bags of fresh produce and pantry items right to your car.
Mobile Lunchbox
Keeping kids fed while school is out.
We partner with school districts to deliver fresh lunches to students in low-income neighborhoods during the summer. In 2024, volunteers delivered 32,802 meals to 31 different neighborhoods across 6 school districts.
Garden to Table
Helping your family grow their own fresh, healthy food.
This program helps you grow your own food at one of 8 garden locations across Dakota County. Garden to Table provides seeds, starter plants, and tools!
